this is disgusting. the simple act of littering infuriates me. i'm actually getting very agitated reading the article.

OMG that's SO AWFUL!!!! It makes me want to go scoop it all up and dump it on peoples' front lawn, and mix it into their bed and food and hair, and see how THEY like plastic goo ruining their life! As much as plastic is awesome, it's times like this I wish it were never invented, and we still used stone tools.

once i saw this woman throw a take-up coffee cup out her car window and the wind blew it back into the back seat's open window. it was so awesome!!!

neat! i wonder how much energy it takes to microwave the stuff, i.e. if more energy is put in than the energy equivalent of the oil made.

i think it's a niche...

That's a cool gadget! I'm sure they don't mention the energy use because the input exceeds what you get out of the oil. It's still a very good idea though, since you have the chance to produce oil (a good battery) from clean energy and at the same time process all those plastics.

Not at all profitable though, so you know how it goes....
