this is disgusting. the simple act of littering infuriates me. i'm actually getting very agitated reading the article.

	neat! i wonder how much energy it takes to microwave the stuff, i.e. if more energy is put in than the energy equivalent of the oil made. i think it's a niche... (Reply to this) (Parent)(Thread)

	That's a cool gadget! I'm sure they don't mention the energy use because the input exceeds what you get out of the oil. It's still a very good idea though, since you have the chance to produce oil (a good battery) from clean energy and at the same time process all those plastics. Not at all profitable though, so you know how it goes.... (Reply to this) (Parent)
